My fourth volume of poetry is titled “Memories“, and it features 100 poems from different stages in my life.
Here is a review from Amazon:
In each book in his poetry book series, Steve R. Drennon writes he reveals more of his secrets. His captivating poems speak of a sensitive heart that lives for romance but is aware that love doesn’t always last a lifetime. He starts this book by describing love as a powerful force then he writes beautifully about escaping on a sailboat. Some of the poems in the first section of this book are Steve R. Drennon’s most beautiful poems. There are some poems which explore the sweet innocence of young love and others that are sexy, romantic, playful or entrancing. If you are a woman reading this book you may wish that someone would write you poems like this. At times the poems express deep love and other times loneliness. Many of the poems are written to ease the poet’s pain when love is lost. Still most of the poems express hope and celebrate the beauty of love.

WHAT HAPPINESS!
UNCONQUERABLE FOE
SAY YOU’LL NEVER GO
A LOVELY PICTURE
OUR LOVE
NIGHTTIME
SAIL AWAY WITH ME
YOU’RE ALL I NEED
RUNNING AWAY
LOVELINESS
MUCH MORE
I WANT TO REMEMBER YOU
WATCHING YOU
AFTERNOON LOVE
JUST THE GIRL
AND YET . . .
WHAT WORDS
BACKWOODS RENDEZVOUS
NOW THAT I’VE FOUND YOU
HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
EACH TEAR
I’LL STILL BE HERE
IT MUST BE LOVE
YOU MUST LEAVE ME
YOU ARE GONE
DAYDREAM
WE HAD A SPECIAL LOVE
I’LL CALL
WHY CAN’T WE?
WITH A SMILE
THE SWEET GIFT
YOU’RE HARD TO FORGET
TIME TO GO
FOREVER AND A DAY
MEMORIES
LONELY FOOL
JUST FOR YOU
WHY DID YOU?
. . . AND I CRIED
REMEMBER YOU . . . REMEMBER ME
EMPTY FEELING
NO EASY WAY
YOU ARE MY LIFE
THE WINE
THE POEMS I WRITE
WHY COULDN’T YOU
LET ME DREAM IN PEACE
TAKE ANOTHER GOOD LOOK
PARTING
THE VOICE NOT YOURS
YOU WERE RIGHT, I WAS LEFT
YOU’VE NEVER SEEN ME CRY
I CAN’T FIND YOU
WE BOTH STILL CARE
A TEARDROP IN MY EYE
DO YOU REMEMBER?
LOVE IS NEVER CERTAIN
WAITING FOR TOMORROW
PERHAPS
WE’VE NEVER . . .
ANYONE WHO NEEDS SOMEONE
IN MY ARMS TONIGHT
I HAD TO TAKE THE CHANCE
PERHAPS IT’S TRUE
FORBIDDEN LOVE
I JUST CAN’T LOVE YOU ENOUGH
THE LOVE THEY ONCE GAVE
SWEET DREAMS
YOUR TROUBLED FROWN
THE DISTANCE OF TIME
THIS RING
DREAMS OF YOU
WITH GLANCES, TOUCH
I’M NOT READY
WALK AWAY FROM ME
IN MY MIND
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN . . . ?
I’LL BE LONELY
I DON’T WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND
SIMPLE MAN
THROW CAUTION TO THE WIND
THERE WITH YOU
SOME TOMORROW
DREAMS CAN COME TRUE
I CAN’T RECALL YOUR NAME
DON’T WALK AWAY
CHRYSANTHEMUMS
I AWOKE
THE DEATH OF CHIVALRY
. . . AND YELLOW ROSES
YOU CAME INTO MY LIFE
ARTIST AND MODEL
BRIGHTEN YOUR LOVE
FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE
THREE LANE PARKING LOT
CHELSEA
ICE COLD JUNE
FOR YOU
RAINDREAMER
DIXIE AND YOU
