YOU’VE NEVER SEEN ME CRY

I know you’ve seen me laugh,
At funny jokes I hear.
We both know that I smile
Whenever you are near.

You’ve seen my different moods
At different times of the day.
You’ve seen me laugh and smile
In many different ways.

Yet, you haven’t seen me frown,
And often times you won’t.
You’ve never seen me cry,
But that doesn’t mean I won’t.

You see, my inner emotions
Are something I often hide,
And you’ll never see my tears
Because they’re buried deep inside.
