My friends are all forgotten now.
We’ve all lost touch, not knowing how.
Their friendship lingers in the past,
Another dream that didn’t last.
My life’s season approaches fall.
Depression comes as I recall
The future plans which we once made.
How quickly they all seemed to fade.
Where are they now? What have they done?
I long sometimes to find just one
Of my old friends from long ago.
Where are they now? I’ll never know.
