GOODNIGHT, HEATHER

The snow white bear which she received
That first Christmas we shared,
Waits there for her in bed each night,
In case she should get scared.

There’s also that large rabbit which
She got on Easter day.
If Snow Bear cannot comfort her,
Then Snuggle Bunny may.

I say to her each evening as
I tuck her in real tight,
“I hope you sleep well, honey bear.
Sweet dreams, my love. Goodnight!”

Then as she starts to fall asleep,
There’s one more thing I do.
I say, “I love you, honey bear,
And momma loves you too.”
