DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL

She’s got a bouncy little walk
And a sparkle in her eyes.
I kind of like the way she talks.
I even like the way she cries.
Any time she’s holding me
I feel like telling all the world,
“Hey everybody, can’t you see?
This is Daddy’s little girl!”

She’s got a pout that breaks your heart
And a laugh that makes you smile.
We just can’t stand to be apart
For even just a little while.
She’s just as pretty as can be,
With her hair all full of curls.
It doesn’t take that much to see
That this is Daddy’s little girl!

Yes, she’s Daddy’s little girl,
She’s the greatest thing that’s happened to me.
She’s a jewel, she’s a pearl,
She’s a pretty little girl,
And that’s something anybody can see.
