TOUCH THE RAIN

I feel the rain upon my face.
It washes over me.
I wonder if it’s falling down
Wherever you may be.

I hear the thunder echo from
A distance far away,
A distance that I hope will fade
For you and me, someday.

Then as the rain keeps falling down,
It somehow makes me blue
To know that I can touch the rain
More easily than you.
