NOT ENOUGH TIME

You’re over two hundred miles away.
I miss seeing your face every day.
I wish that we had more time
So I could tell you what I’m
Trying to say.

It seems there’s so little time that we share,
But even so, I know how much you care.
When I have love on my mind,
There’s no doubt I will find
That you’re there.

But there’s just not enough time in a day
For me to have a chance to say
How much I love you.
No, there’s just not enough time in a day,
And darling, you’re too far away
For me to show you.
There’s just not enough time in a day.

I keep dreaming of you every night,
But when I wake up you’re nowhere in sight.
Yet I know just where you are,
And since it’s not very far,
I’m all right.
