TOUCH YOU WITH A SONG

I can touch you in the morning
As I wake by your side And feel your warm, soft body
Pressing close against mine.
The love I fell for you
Is something I can’t hide
As I kiss your lovely face one more time.

I can touch you in the evening
As we dance across the floor,
Or as we walk together in
The moonlight on the shore.
It seems each time I touch you,
I want to touch you once more.
You’re everything a man could ask for.

Yet, I think I’d rather touch you with a song.
A song I wrote especially for you.
For if I can touch your heart,
We’ll never be apart.
So I think I’d rather touch you with a song.

I can touch you as I kiss you
And I’m sure that you will see
That every time I’m with you,
I’m everything that I can be.
Then every time I hold you,
I find it hard to set you free,
Because I love the way that you’re touching me.
