MY DAUGHTER

With innocence and happiness
She smiles a simple smile.
Her laughter and exuberance
Makes everything worthwhile.

Her joyful youth and energy
Is endless, so it seems,
Until she’s lying in her bed,
Still smiling in her dreams.

She smiles for everyone she meets.
On that you can depend.
I love that little girl so much,
My daughter, my best friend.
