I’LL BE BESIDE YOU

Look out your window, there’s stars up above.
I’ll be beside you to give you my love.
So lay down and rest now and don’t make a peep,
And I’ll be beside you to sing you to sleep.

When daytime is over and night comes along,
I’ll be beside you to sing you this song.
For now, simply lay down, let sleep fill your eyes,
And I’ll be beside you to see the sun rise.

I know there’s so much that you’d still like to do.
I’ll be beside you to help see them through.
Tomorrow, the morning will bring a new day,
And I’ll be beside you to show you the way.

‘Til then, close your eyes, let good thoughts fill your head.
I’ll be beside you to tuck you in bed.
Then I’ll make a promise to you that I’ll keep.
I’ll be here beside you to sing you to sleep.
