I’LL STILL REMEMBER YOU

Time can never take away
The memory of yesterday.
Even when I’m old and gray,
I’ll still remember you.
Distance never can erase
The image of your lovely face.
I know I never will replace
A love so rare and true.

I can only hope you feel the same.
As time goes by, will you recall my name?
You can try to turn the page,
And start your life anew,
But even so, I’ll still remember you.

Other girls have come and gone.
Their memories fade before too long,
But even if you’re moving on,
I’ll still remember you.
The time we shared went by too fast.
It’s such a shame it didn’t last.
I never will forget the past
And the things we used to do.
