I CAN’T FIND THE WORDS

I can’t find the nerve
To walk right up to you
And ask your name.
And I can’t seem to find
A way to make you understand
The way I feel.
This can’t be real.

I wish there was some way
That I could introduce myself
And tell you just how much
I care for you.
You know, I’ve searched my soul.
I’ve tried to find the words,
But they’re not there.
