NOTHING IS FOREVER

Nothing is forever,
Everything has an end.
But, please don’t cry my darling,
You’ll find another friend.

One day the streams and rivers,
The lakes and oceans too,
Will simply disappear,
Just like me and you.

The mountains and the valleys,
The trees and grass so green,
Will someday cease to be,
As will everything.

Our love won’t last forever,
I know this to be true,
But let’s not think of that.
Let’s think of me and you.
