COULD I FORGET YOU?

If I should walk away from you,
What would prevent my sorrow?
You know I’d long for you tonight,
And miss you more tomorrow.

I know that I could never leave.
Your love would never let me.
But if, by chance, I ever should,
Do you think you’d forget me?

I hope our love will never end.
I pray it lasts forever.
But if we find it cannot last,
Could I forget you, ever?
