KISSES SWEET

You’ll never know how much I’ve longed
To taste your kisses sweet,
And yet, somewhere inside I know,
Our lips will never meet.

My heart will never know the joy
Of sharing love with you.
My hands will never feel the warmth
Or gentleness of you.

I’ll never breathe your perfumed air.
Our eyes shall never meet,
And yet, I know I’ll always long
To taste your kisses sweet.
