THE MOON AND I

Our love for each other
You know it seemed so right
As we kissed each other
In the pale moonlight.

Now you are gone
And I’m so alone.
I wish you could see
How lonely I’ve grown.

Now the moon and I
Just sit here together,
And although you’re gone
We’ll still love you forever.
