Memories of the love that didn’t last.
The love that now lies in the past,
Hidden in my memories.
Memories of the nights I spent with you,
And the love that once was true.
These are now my memories.
Memories of the days when you would walk with me.
Hopes and dreams of the future that could never be.
I cherish those sweet memories.
Memories of the plans that we once made.
They were just part of your charade,
And now they are my memories.
Memories of the love so long ago.
How was I supposed to know
It would end up only memories?
