Though yesterday has come and gone,
Tomorrow waits ahead.
It’s getting hard to carry on
Without you by my side.
The hopes and dreams of days gone by
Now haunt me in my sleep.
Yet, even so I’ll have to try
To still fulfill my dreams.
My memory is laden with
The fears and doubts of love.
Though love should prove to be a myth,
It’s still worth striving for.
Tomorrow may be lonely, yet
No worse than yesterday,
And still I pray that life won’t let
Me face my fears alone.
