I’m sitting here, watching the rain come down,
And wondering about you tonight.
I wonder if you still think of me.
I’m all alone, and facing a lonely life
Just watching the rainclouds form above.
I wonder if you remember me.
It’s been some time since I held you tight
Or walked with you on a starless night,
But just the same, I still miss you tonight.
I’m crying now. My tears match the falling rain.
The memories cause such pain inside.
I’m wishing that you were here with me.
But nothing’s changed. The feelings that we once shared
Have vanished into my memories
And still I wish you were here with me.
