Your smile arouses emotions
Which have lain dormant
Within my heart for so long.
Your kindness brings to mind
A beautiful memory of love
Which I once knew.
Your laughter fills my mind
With sounds of joy
Which long ago went silent.
Your eyes attract my gaze
With firm, yet soft control,
And melt my inner soul.
Your beauty causes me to long
To hold you in my arms
And taste your tender kiss.
And yet, you’ve given me no sign
That your desires match mine,
Therefore, I’ll dream of you tonight
And hope that someday soon
You’ll understand the way I feel
And perhaps you’ll feel the same.
