I’ll write a poem just for you,
As though it were my duty.
I’ll mention words of praise about
Your very special beauty.
My words will be remembered by
The future generations.
They’ll know about your loveliness
In many different nations.
I’ll tell them all about the love
Which you once gave so gladly,
And then I’ll tell them how you died,
And how we parted, sadly.
