MOURNING

The clouds still mourn your passing with
Their little tears of rain.
They know full well that you have gone,
To never come again.

Although the sun still shines each day,
The willows do yet weep,
For you have left their shadows for
Your last, eternal sleep.

I hardly can remember well
How many tears I’ve cried
Since I received the final kiss
You gave before you died.
