YOUR EYES

Your eyes reflect the happiness
You feel inside your heart.
They glimmer with such loveliness,
A true object d’art.

Your eyes tell me you’re lonely when
The two of us aren’t one.
The moisture from your teardrops make
Them glisten in the sun.

Your eyes are easily compared
To your warm, loving smile,
And when I see them smile at me,
It makes my life worthwhile.
