THE CURSE

I find
I’m longing more
And more each day for you.
It’s just as if you’ve put a curse
On me.

I rise
Each morning and
You’re on my mind, and then
I find you’re on my mind again
Each night.

Perhaps
Someday I’ll find
A way to break the curse,
But ’till then I’ll enjoy it while
I can.
