I saw you the other day
For the first time in three years,
And I thought until then
That I’d forgotten you.
But you walked into my life
Just as if you’d never left,
And I’m crying once again
Because of you.
Now I’m trying to hide the tears
Which start falling from my eyes
Every time somebody says your name.
All those lonely memories
Which I thought I’d misplaced
Came back to bother me the other day.
My heart broke again
When I saw you the other day,
The same way that it broke
Three years ago.
I felt that same old pain
When you looked into my eyes,
Then you turned away from me
And walked away.
