Do you hear it?
It is the wonderful sound of laughter.
The children in the streets
Are happy and so gay.
Yes, it’s Christmas time again,
And oh, what a happy day!
The lights upon the
Christmas tree are talking
As they blink.
“Be happy, rejoice,
It’s Christmas time,”
They say as they gently wink.
Soon the day grows into night
And the children are asleep in their beds,
With dreams of tomorrow
And thoughts of today
Still dancing through their heads.
