The snow falls quietly
In the lonely night
As I sit at the window
Staring at the sky.
The stars are hidden
By invisible clouds,
But I know they’re there
Shining over me.
The snowflakes glisten
As the clouds start to break,
Revealing the distant moon.
As the snow begins to cease,
More of the sky is revealed
And the stars at last
Begin to shine once more
On this cold December night.
